Horní Tošanovice is a small village lying in the picturesque mountainous countryside between Moravian-Silesian Beskydy and Žermanice dam on the former imperial road connecting in the past Silesia and other countries of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. It belongs to the oldest villages in Těšínsko region, as it was founded approximately in 13^th century. The lovers of water sports and summer recreation are intensely attracted by the already mentioned Žermanická dam.
