Palkovice

Palkovice is formed by two parts ? Palkovice and Myslík, originally separate villages unified in 1980 in one whole. It is located in the eastern part of Moravian-Silesian region at the foot of Beskydy mountains in the district of Frýdek-Místek. Western part of the village is embordered by Palkovické hůrky mountains which includes a natural reserve founded in 1969, with an area of 18.33 ha. The village is passed through by Olešná river, on which a dam reservoir of the same name was built at the beginning of 1960´s.

There is also a ski slope in Palkovice with artificial illumination and artificial snowing equipment. Beautiful surrounding nature and also the existence of near Olešní dam offers many opportunities to practice sports and tourism.

Aquapark offers the visitors recreation and relaxation in the indoor and outdoor aquapark facilities. They can enjoy the swimming pool with dimensions of 28.5 x 18 m, giant 90 m toboggan, wild 23 m river, water shoots and cannons, benches and massaging nozzles, swinging swimming pool, current channel, pearl bath, foot massages, whirlpool, climbing web, child?s stain-less steel swimming pool with water attractions of infra and steam cabin, Finnish sauna and a series of complementary services.
