Dobratice

The village was founded during the reign of Jiří of Poděbrady in the second half of 15th century. The first written mentions of the village date back to the beginning of 17th century, when Dobratice belong to the dominions of Horní Domaslovice. Dobratice lies in the foot of Beskydy mountains at the bottom of Prašivá mountain in the valley of Lučina river, to the east of Frýdek-Místek. The village is a starting point of tracks in the direction towards Žermanická dam, and in the direction towards Prašivá mountain and further to the ridges of Beskydy.
