 Krásná lies in the district of Frýdek-Místek and the first mention of it dates back to 1636. It extends in the mountain valley of Mohelnice river, left affluent of Morávka river. The valley is dominated by Lysá hora and Travný. On the sides of Kyčera mountain there is a part called Dolní Krásná. Summer leisure activities include tourism, bathing, fishing and picking of forest fruit. Winter offers the opportunity to practice cross country skiing and downhill skiing.

Tip:

Lysá hora is the highest mountain of Moravina-Silesian Beskydy (1324 m above the sea level). Its peak part is oval, the adjacent sides, which deviate in four main forks (Malchor, Lukšinec, Zimní Polana a Velký Kobylík) that are predominantly steep. Lysá hora represents a natural tourist magnet. Standard daily visit rate ranges in the high season range between 300 - 700 people, when the weather is fine in summer period it can be even 3 000 people. Current annual visiting rate of Lysá hora is estimated to approx. 130 000 people.
