Pazderna village lies in the district of Frýdek-Místek near Žermanická dam. The first mention about Pazderna dates back to 1573, when it was a part of dominion of Frýdek. There is a bricked chapel in the village since 1871, which is consecrated to St. John Nepomucký. In 1907 a new school was finished, which was in use by 1973. After reconstruction it also includes a local library and since 1999 municipal office. Those that are interested in sport and recreation can visit a new sports area, which is located behind the municipal office building. The area is a place for sports life, but also offers a pleasant place for refreshment and view of the panorama of Beskydy mountains.
